“No one interviewed by this investigator admitted that the conduct was malicious or the result of treatment on the basis of the employee being in a protected class (i.e. a female or a minority). The investigation could not conclusively determine if the hostile treatment was on account of the employees being in a protected class ... but it cannot be ruled out.
